Product details
This is Saito's first attempt with a single-cylinder engine. It uses a standoff mount that is integrated into the rear cover. Supplied with the aluminium engine mount and ignition system. Who doesn't know them, the marvellous 4T engines from SAITO. Known for years for top quality and reliability. SAITO engines became famous in the era of glow ignition engines. Always in a 4-stroke design, in a black housing with a gold valve cover or simply in a silver-coloured housing. This was followed later by modern large-volume petrol engines with various numbers of cylinders. Again, all in the 4-stroke design typical of Saito. These new petrol engines quickly became very popular, as they were considered powerful and reliable right from the start. Petrol engines have lower fuel consumption than glow ignition engines and the fuel is also considerably cheaper. Electronic ignition enables the engines to be started without a glow device, which significantly improves ease of use compared to earlier engines. Standard commercial petrol is usually used in conjunction with high-quality 2T oil in a ratio of 15-20:1. An operating manual in English is included with the engine.
