It is aimed at journalists, filmmakers, or anyone using a handheld digital recorder for professional-quality audio recordings in outdoor settings. It can be used for both outdoor recordings and simple audio podcasts or outdoor radio reports. With the new 1/4" to 3/8" swivel adapter, the suspension fits any portable recorder with a 1/4" internal thread. The suspension can then be mounted on a 3/8" external thread, a microphone stand, or attached to a camera's hot shoe. The 180° swivel allows for easy alignment of the recorder, ensuring it points directly at the speaker.
