Rycote S-Shield Kit Medium

The Super-Shield Kit is a complete windscreen and shock mount system for shotgun microphones measuring 200-250 mm in length. The Super-Shield Suspension provides your microphone with isolation from shocks and vibrations thanks to its patented lyre technology. The lyre reduces handling noise with all axial microphones without the use of rubber or rubber bands, and is the accepted standard in the broadcast industry. The Super-Shield windscreen consists of two "pods" that attach to the central chassis. These are lightweight, durable baskets made of flexible gray plastic mesh with an attached screen material. The windscreen features a twist-lock system on the chassis ring and completely encloses the entire microphone, connector, and suspension during assembly. The windjammer is a high-quality faux fur cover that offers excellent protection against extreme wind noise.
