This modular windshield WS-1 kit from Rycote includes a small modular suspension, a windshield, and a windscreen, making it the top choice for professionals when maximum isolation from wind and road noise is required. Thanks to this complete modular system, almost any microphone can be shock-mounted and equipped with different windshields. The windscreen basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector and can be slid onto the modular suspension to achieve wind noise attenuation of up to 30 dB.

Included in the package:

  • 1x Connbox CB1 (XLR-3F) - suitable for mono microphones with 3-pin XLR
  • 1x XLR holder MK II - fits between any boom pole or microphone stand with 3/8-inch external thread and any microphone shock mount or windscreen system with 3/8-inch internal thread
  • 1x boom pole adapter
  • 1x pistol grip with lever
  • 1x Windjammer WJ 1 - suitable for use with the Windjammer WJ 1
  • 1x windshield WS 1 - suitable for microphone lengths of 71-120 mm
  • 1x small suspension (XLR-3F)
  • 2x Single Lyra 62 (19/25) brush
  • Hex key.
