Rycote 15cm super softie (19/22)

The Super-Softie retains the excellent wind noise reduction of a conventional windshield while combining it with a novel aerodynamic shape and surface structure, as well as a material - 3D-Tex - that unites outstanding acoustic transparency with excellent damping of wind noise. It has no rigid internal structure, which means it practically causes no distortion of polar patterns and is extremely robust in challenging environments such as news gathering.

When it gets wet from rain, it can be quickly squeezed out and shaken dry. If it becomes covered in dust, it can be rinsed off quickly without compromising performance.

Thanks to the shape and structure of the Super Softie, wind noise can be reduced more efficiently at extremely low LF and infrasound frequencies - where the greatest wind energy lies - compared to previous designs.
