The Shotgun Mic Foam is a discreet, attachable windscreen that protects the microphone head from wind and pop noises. These windscreens are made from durable, high-quality open-cell acoustic foam and provide up to 20 dB of wind noise reduction while minimizing frequency loss.

This high-quality foam has been exclusively developed for Rycote and offers excellent resistance to harmful effects from moisture and UV light.

The Shotgun Mic Foam windscreens come with a corresponding Rycote Windjammer for an additional 12 dB of wind noise reduction.
