Rug Gear RG880i

The ultra-robust and thin housing and the unique design make the RG880i the perfect device for the digitalisation of companies. A large PTT button, an SOS button and two additional customisable side buttons make it the perfect tool for mission critical communication.

We know how important powerful speakers are for emergency communication. That's why we designed the lower part of our device in an innovative way.
We created an angle and spread the speakers across the entire width to support the sound propagation of the 103db speaker, even when the device is worn with the screen towards the chest while on duty.

We've added an extra layer of security to maximise safety and protect sensitive information: We built a fingerprint reader into our RG880i so that data is more secure and only accessible to the intended user.
Fingerprint unlocking allows users wearing a face shield to securely access data during critical operations.

The RG880i is equipped with a 4500 mAh Li-ion battery. To meet the needs of our customers, the battery on this device can be removed and easily replaced. Unique to the RG880i is that the device remains sealed and the IP68 rating is not compromised in any way, even if the battery cover is removed.

At the heart of the RG880i is the Snapdragon® 680 4G mobile platform from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Optimised for push-to-talk, it is ready for MCPTT and compatible with 3GPP Release 12.
