To construct a fully illuminated pushbutton or indicator element, you will need a pushbutton or indicator, a diffuser, and a bulb or LED. Suitable diffuser discs are available. The SD16 series includes indicators and illuminated pushbuttons with a standard cutout of 16 mm for panels with a thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm. The single pole pushbuttons in the SD16 series are equipped with a contact or light block; use a T1 3/4 low-profile bulb or LED for illumination and choose an appropriate diffusing lens. Suitable diffusers for use with the SD16 series pushbuttons and indicators are available in various colors (blue, green, orange, red, and white) and shapes (square and rectangular). Each lens is flat and made of polycarbonate, which can be engraved.
