Product details

LANtest Multi-Network Cable Tester. Continuity testing of coaxial cables with BNC connectors and 8-pin data lines with attached RJ-45 connectors. The device detects open and short-circuited (wire/wire or wire/shield) connections. A two-line display (LEDs) sequentially shows which pin of the RJ-45 connector at cable end A is connected to which pin at cable end B. Manual or automatic switching is possible; in the case of a short circuit, more than two LEDs light up simultaneously. The device features 2 RJ-45 sockets. With the included remote kit, cables installed in walls can also be tested. Two adapter cables (BNC/RJ-45) are included for testing coaxial cables.
