EMI/RFI – Flanged, shielded aluminum die-cast enclosures. RS Pro's shielded aluminum die-cast enclosures are made from a high-quality aluminum alloy with a natural finish and no external coating. The enclosures can withstand temperatures up to 250 °C without affecting the aluminum or the enclosure structure. Mounting flanges are built in for easy installation within the enclosure. Various sizes and wall thicknesses are available. Features and Benefits: EMI/RF shielding. Aluminum die-cast alloy ADC 12 (LM24 to BS1490). ADC stands for aluminum die-casting. High-quality aluminum. The cover is equipped with lips to ensure EMI/RFI shielding. The shielding is better than 40 dB at 10 MHz and 76 dB at 100 kHz. Taper of 1.5° per side cover to the base. No adhesive seal included. High heat resistance. Various sizes and wall thicknesses available. Mounting: Flanged enclosure. The flange is located at the bottom of the enclosure, allowing for easy wall mounting. The length specification of the external dimensions includes the flanges. Guides for PCB mounting. Enclosure/Cover Design: Untreated aluminum, smooth, no external coating. If painting is desired, use powder coating. No gasket. Cover attachment to the base: The cover is fitted with a lip to ensure a tight fit against the base. Taper of 1.5° per side cover to the base.
