This heat shrink tubing has a shrink ratio of 2:1 and meets various standards, including IEC 60684-3-216 Type C and DEF Stan. 59-97 Edition 3 Type 8. It features new harmonized colors that comply with IEE standards for phase colors according to BS 7671. When used as an outer sheath, this product helps ensure that cables meet the latest fire safety standards. It is halogen-free and exceeds the requirements of the London Underground and the MOD, making it ideal for applications where fire safety is a top priority, such as in public buildings, public transport, subway passenger systems, submarines, hospitals, and airports.

The tubing offers very low flammability with a flame temperature index of over 350 °C, is completely halogen-free, and has an extremely low smoke emission that meets the LUL standard. It produces no toxic smoke and has a high oxygen index of over 40%. It is suitable for insulation, cable protection, cable marking, and encapsulation at connectors and is supplied in lengths of 1.2 m.
