The dimensions for cable harness entry allow for the passage of connectors along with the cable harness, i.e., D-connectors with attached Speedbloc™ flat ribbon cable, IDC types, and other versions, through the opening in the front panel. Crimp housing (grounding). Suitable hole cutters are available in the cutting tools for D-connectors. Crimp contacts for rear release are tin-plated for connectors/housings to ensure continuity of shielding. A tool with a ratchet mechanism is available separately.
