The temperature range specified for the rectangular versions refers to the brass inserts. The steatite itself can withstand 500°C. These are heat-resistant steatite terminal blocks with a steatite housing and nickel-plated brass inserts, secured with plated steel screws. They are suitable for use in high ambient temperatures and offer several features and benefits, including a temperature range of +300°C, a rated voltage of 450 V, high density, better flexural and compressive strength, higher elasticity, higher dielectric strength, non-flammability, temperature resistance, and dimensional stability up to 1000°C.
