Encapsulated lead acid batteries from RS Pro are ideally suited for uninterruptible power supply and emergency power supply. These gel batteries can be stored for more than six months and are valve regulated and maintenance free. AGM batteries differ from flooded lead-acid batteries in that the electrolyte is held in glass mats, rather than freely flooding the plates. Glass fibers are woven into a mat to increase the surface area, ensuring sufficient electrolyte is maintained on the cells throughout their life.

The batteries in this series from RS Pro are completely maintenance-free and can be mounted in any orientation without the risk of leakage. They are extremely efficient, suitable for air transport, and have excellent recovery after discharge.
