Especially high-quality pre-terminated double-shielded (PiMF) PoE-capable network cable of category 8 with shielded RJ-45 connectors on both ends for data rates up to 40 gigabits per second. Suitable as a TP extension cable in multimedia applications, as a patch cable in patch fields, or as a device connection cable, and intended for use in LAN.

Pre-terminated double-shielded twisted-pair patch cable with shielded RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Suitable for use in 40-gigabit Ethernet networks for PoE applications. Durable thanks to molded strain relief. Cat. 8.1, suitable for 10 to 40 GBit/s. Impedance: 100 Ohms. Contact assignment: 1:1 according to EIA/TIA568, 8 conductors. Construction: 8 stranded conductors, pair shielding with aluminum-laminated polyester foil, overall shielding in copper braid. High-quality gold-plated contacts. Halogen-free, flame-retardant, low smoke.

Category 8, the standard for next-generation twisted-pair cabling, allows for up to four times faster data transmission on the same cabling type and supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications for short distances. Our Cat. 8 cables are not only halogen-free and flame-retardant (LSOH) but also GHMT certified, ensuring their performance and quality.

We recommend using the following components for setting up a shielded structured Cat. 8 cabling: ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) cables, Cat. 8, solid wire, AWG22, LSOH; ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) patch cables Cat. 8, LSOH, solid wire, yellow; ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) patch cables Cat. 8, LSOH, stranded wire, yellow; ROLINE Cat. 8 Keystone, shielded, tool-free, silver. This product combination has been tested at GHMT AG, an accredited testing laboratory, in the 2 Connector Channel (30m), copper, Class I up to 2 GHz.
