Do you want to connect a VGA monitor to your graphics card with a DisplayPort socket? The solution is the DisplayPort to VGA adapter, which allows you to connect a VGA monitor to a DisplayPort socket on your graphics card. The image signal is electronically converted within the adapter. It features a DisplayPort connector and a VGA socket. DisplayPort version 1.2 supports higher resolutions, refresh rates, and greater color depths.

Note: The DisplayPort to VGA adapter only works in one direction: the DisplayPort connector can only be used on the data source side (e.g., graphics card).

Active adapters should be used when you are using longer cables. The image signal is electronically converted in the adapter, enhancing your image quality.
