Product details
Since August 2019, the Type V has been delivered with a small discreetly mounted shot timer. A small extra that can be very helpful. This Type V version impresses as a high-quality E-61 machine with an even more appealing design. It comes standard with a rail. It is the successor to the Cellini Premium Plus in a different guise.
The advantage of a PID is the precise (albeit indirect) temperature control without needing to open the machine, as well as a temperature stability that simply cannot be achieved with a pressure switch. All pipes are made of solid copper. Both the water and steam taps are designed with double-walled no-burn construction. The boiler is fully insulated. The machine features a large brew and boiler pressure gauge.
Included in the package are: a portafilter for one shot, a portafilter for two shots, an aluminum tamper, a measuring cup, the operating manual, a USB stick, and 1 kilogram of Parrottacaffé Gran Crema in whole beans or ground. The chronometer (shot timer) is on the front, allowing for simultaneous steam and espresso extraction, with a very precise 68 mm boiler pressure gauge on the front. There is also a very precise brew pressure gauge on the front, an insulated copper boiler with 1.8 liters, and a swivel steam wand with powerful steam production. The cup warming tray is passively heated. Operation is via rotary knobs. It features an exact thermopid with free adjustment and very low hysteresis.
