The new Scirocco "XL" is the enlarged and further developed version of our successful model Scirocco "L". At your request, we have created a larger variant of our Scirocco. With its 4.5m wingspan, it performs significantly better in thermals compared to its predecessors. The Scirocco XL is a high-performance glider model built using modern GFK/CFK shell construction with very high strength. The H-shaped main spar, constructed in a sandwich design with Airex as the core material and laminated carbon fiber fabric, has been significantly reinforced. It is suitable for the hobby pilot looking for an all-round glider focused on thermal flying, while still allowing for light aerobatics such as rolls, loops, turns, etc. The elaborate and aesthetically pleasing design ensures excellent flight attitude recognition as usual. The connection from the center section to the outer wings is achieved securely and cleanly via a CFK square spar.
