The UltraSpectrum software supports the Rigol DSA1000 and DSA800 series spectrum analyzers. The software operates in two modes.

In Basic Mode, it is possible to remotely control the spectrum analyzer. Additionally, various marker setting functions are available, such as creating up to 20 markers and displaying the marker values in the marker table. Example values include: Peak, Valley, Max Hold, Min Hold, Freeze, Video Average, and Power Average.

In Advanced Mode, the Peak and Valley Detect function is available, allowing the software to automatically search for peaks and valleys. History spectrum data can be displayed, and a 3D waterfall graph or an intensity graph can be created. Various advanced measurement functions are available: Time Power, Channel Power, Adjacent Channel, Occupied and Emission BW, C/N Ratio, Harmonic Distortion, 3rd Order Intermodulation Distortion, as well as Pass/Fail Test.
