Ideal for authorities, businesses, and individuals: The compact Renkforce Smartcard reader with USB connection is an easy-to-use gadget that can read various chip cards. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac, making it versatile in its application. Thanks to Plug & Play, no complicated additional installation is required. The Smartcard reader can be used, among other things, for quick online identification, such as that required when filing a tax return. It supports asynchronous T=0 and T=1 chip cards based on the ISO7816 implementation, PC chip cards according to the industry standard PC/SC 1.0 and PC/SC 2.0, as well as synchronous cards with 2-wire, 3-wire, or I2C interfaces.
