E2 Emulator Lite is sold only in limited regions and is not available in Japan. It is designed for RX and RL78 microcontroller families. The Renesas E2 Emulator Lite (E2 Lite) is an on-chip debugging emulator and flash programmer specifically for RX Series and RL78 microcontrollers. It is also compatible with the E1 emulator and can connect to boards intended for the E1 emulator, although the voltage is 3.3V and not 5 volts. This cost-effective device includes the IDE e2studio and compiler for debugging and flash programming the RL78 and RX families. The E2 Emulator Lite is suitable for hobbyist projects as well as professional development.
