Slide framing device for CS2 slide frames (item no. 1008).
The automatic slide framing device in the C.A.M. system for PAXIMOUNT CS frames or slide frames in the C.A.M.
system. The film strip is inserted into the guide slots of the unit and transported forward or backward evenly to the last frame by a spring-loaded friction wheel conveyor that automatically adjusts to the film thickness. The viewing field is illuminated by a frosted special lamp. With the help of the two image line markers and a fold-out 2½x magnifier, the interface can be fixed exactly. The PAXIMOUNT CS slide frame is pushed into the unit as far as it will go, at which point it opens. Cutting is carried out using the roll-cut method with a self-sharpening stainless steel blade. The film is pressed down automatically and a very precise, clean cut is achieved. Cutting is possible in both directions. After cutting, the slide frame is simply pulled out of the machine. It closes automatically. Four marking marks on the viewing field also allow subsequent viewing of the framed slides under the magnifying glass.
