Terminator: Resistance is an officially licensed first-person shooter set in the future war scenario hinted at in the iconic films The Terminator and T2: Judgement Day by James Cameron.

The story takes place about 30 years after the events of Judgement Day in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and revolves around a brand-new hero, Jacob Rivers, a soldier in the resistance led by the legendary John Connor. Although Jacob is just a low-ranking private, it soon becomes clear that he is the target of Skynet's latest weapon and is to be eliminated.

Skynet may be destined to lose the war, but at what cost for Jacob? The player experiences the events in the fight against the machines that pave the way to the decisive battle for the fate of humanity.
