RØDE VideoMic Me

The Rode VideoMic ME is a condenser directional microphone designed for iPhone, iPad, and smartphones. It is very compact and lightweight (8 cm/34 g) and features an integrated TRRS connector for connecting to a mobile device's headset jack. Depending on the orientation of the microphone, it can be directed forward for audio recordings or backward for selfie mode. The VideoMic ME also includes a built-in headphone jack for live monitoring during video recording.

The microphone's 1/2-inch condenser capsule with a cardioid pattern covers a frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 22 mV, low self-noise of approximately 20 dBA, and a maximum sound pressure level of 140 dB. The compact VideoMic measures only 8.0 cm in length and can be comfortably held with a smartphone due to its lightweight of just 34 g. A detachable deluxe furry windscreen is included to prevent unwanted wind noise in your recordings.
