RØDE VideoMic Me

The Rode VideoMic ME is a condenser directional microphone for iPhone, iPad, and smartphones. It is very compact and lightweight (8 cm/34 g) and features a built-in TRRS connector for connecting to a mobile device's headset jack. Depending on the orientation of the microphone, it can be directed forward for audio recordings or backward for selfie mode. The VideoMic ME also includes a built-in headphone jack for live monitoring during video recording.

The microphone's 1/2 inch condenser capsule with a cardioid pattern covers a frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 22 mV, low self-noise of about 20 dBA, and a maximum sound pressure level of 140 dB. The compact VideoMic is only 8.0 cm long and can be comfortably held with a mobile device due to its lightweight of just 34 g. A detachable deluxe furry windscreen is included to prevent unwanted wind noise in your recordings.
