Like its big brother, the K2, the RØDE NTK is a tube condenser microphone designed for studio recordings that are both detailed and warm. Its cardioid pattern is perfect for capturing instruments. The electronic circuitry includes a hand-selected 6922 dual triode tube and other audiophile components that fully utilize the remarkable sensitivity of the transducer. Expect an enormous dynamic range, low self-noise, and the characteristic warmth of a tube microphone. The NTK is suitable for vocals, acoustic instruments, as a drum overhead, for guitar amplifiers, and for piano.
