RØDE NTG4 Plus

The NTG4+ is positioned in the RØDE lineup between the classic NTG-2 and the flagship NTG-3. Its self-noise and sensitivity have been significantly improved compared to the NTG-2. A notable feature is the integrated lithium battery, which allows for operation without phantom power, eliminating the need for battery changes. The battery life exceeds 150 hours, and with the included MicroUSB cable, the NTG4+ can be fully charged in two hours.

The NTG4+ can also be operated with phantom power, during which the battery is neither drained nor charged. New are the electronic switches on the microphone housing, which allow for the activation of pad, high-pass filter, and a presence boost. The latter is ideal for compensating the inevitable high-frequency drop when using a furry windscreen. Each switch features a status LED, and the NTG4+ remembers the last used settings after use, making them immediately available for the next session.
