Rode NT5-S compact 1/2" cardioid condenser microphone, including windscreen and mount. The Rode NT5 is a stick condenser microphone with a cardioid pattern. It is primarily used for capturing acoustic instruments, as a drum overhead, for cymbals, and in live applications. This externally polarized microphone features a 1/2" capsule and an active J-FET impedance converter with a dual-output buffer. Its narrow cardioid pattern is also suitable for dialogue recordings using a microphone stand or boom in the film studio. If needed, the NT5 can be equipped with an optional capsule with a spherical pattern (NT45-O). The NT5 has a satin nickel housing and is also available as an acoustically matched pair.
