The NT3 is considered a workhorse in studio circles. The gold-sputtered 3/4” condenser capsule is suitable for capturing most acoustic instruments. This microphone is designed for studio, live, and outdoor use (with a boom) and is preferred for the following instruments: drums, percussion, acoustic guitar, guitar amplifier, piano, and other acoustic instruments. It is also favored by radio and television correspondents as well as film crews. The NT3 supports both P48 phantom power and the use of a 9V battery (if phantom power is not available). Its robust housing and metal grille make it suitable for tougher conditions. The RØDE NT3 is manufactured in Australia and allows for a free extension of the RØDE warranty to 10 years.
