The RØDE K2 is a premium tube condenser microphone featuring two gold-sputtered 1” diaphragms. Its continuously adjustable polar pattern between cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional figure-eight provides the essential flexibility for high-quality studio recordings. While the technical specifications, such as the maximum sound pressure level of 162 dB, are state-of-the-art, the sound still evokes the legendary microphones of the 1950s. This microphone is suitable for vocals, a variety of instruments, and capturing room acoustics with sensational depth layering.
