  ideal for capacity expansion on a Synology

  Doubled the storage capacity on a Synology DS212+ in less than 2 days, with no downtime. You replace one drive, wait about 6-7 hours for the RAID to rebuild, then do the same with the second one.

  Please pay attention to the revolutions !!!

  Hello,
  
  there are two different versions of this disk at Digitec, but they are completely the same in name.
  One rotates with 5640 revolutions and has 128MB cache. The other spins at 7200 revolutions and comes with 256MB of cache.
  I find it very misleading when the names are the same and you have to scroll to see the difference.
  
  I now have three disks lying around, which do not match the ones I have used so far. Let's see what Digitec has to say about it.
