Verbatim GNC-100 GaN Charger

I bought it for my trip to the USA and it turned out to be very compact, practical and useful when I was there.
The fact that I can also use it in Europe, Switzerland and the UK thanks to the various plugs supplied is great, I never take my other power supplies with me any more and keep this one with me at all times.
It delivers 65W spread over the 3 ports, which meant I didn't have to take my laptop and smartphone chargers with me, just this small, light and space-saving power pack: I didn't need to check any luggage in the hold.
After spending some time selecting and testing chargers, this one seems to me to be among the best in terms of value for money, weight-compactness, universality and travel.

I travel frequently, often on long-haul flights, and I’ve had issues with my laptop’s power adapter. It draws too much power from the plane’s socket, causing it to shut off completely—meaning no power for the duration of the flight.
To solve this, I started using a GaN charger, which allows me to limit the power draw to 120 watts, ensuring that my laptop stays charged throughout the entire flight. Additionally, I can reduce my screen brightness to further minimize power consumption.
I also purchased a 3-meter USB-C to USB-C cable that supports 240-watt charging, which means I no longer need my bulky Dell power adapter. The GaN charger also allows me to charge multiple USB-C devices in parallel, making it an even more versatile solution.
Recently, I picked up the Anker 100W Power Bank (27,600mAh), which is perfect for powering my laptop in airport lounges. It lasts about 90 minutes on my laptop, which is great for short working sessions. The best part is that, with the GaN charger, I can recharge the Anker power bank while running my laptop on its battery at the same time. This is incredibly useful because airport power sockets are often in inconvenient locations, making it difficult to sit and work while charging.
The GaN charger will become even more useful in the future as devices like the iPhone and iPad increase their charging capabilities (currently limited to 30 watts). For reference, it only takes 40 minutes to fully recharge the Anker power bank with the GaN charger, compared to 2–5 hours with a standard 30-watt charger—a massive improvement!
One other point - I cannot use my Dell Power Adaptor to recharge my Ipad as the power out is too high and the laptop does not charge. Now with the GAN power output options its now a non issue.
Final Thoughts
In summary, I no longer need the bulky power supplies from laptop manufacturers. Instead, I rely solely on the GaN charger and a 3m USB-C to USB-C cable (USB 4.0, 240W). This setup has significantly improved my workflow while traveling. A fantastic find!
