Surprisingly GOOD! You can even theoretically use it to make your own music*.
*Purely out of curiosity, I selected the Rocksmith cable as the audio input in a DAW programme - and found out that this cable from Ubisoft is an option to record guitars & basses digitally to the PC! Without noise. In other words, there is a small DA converter built into this Ubisoft cable, with which you can record not bad sound at all.

In case anyone doesn't know, Rocksmith has a CDLC community that makes new songs available for free. I've expanded my song list with some of my favourite artists, which is great for guitar playing and practicing. Unfortunately you can no longer buy some official dlc songs.

Solid and good Real Tone Cable
I have been using Rocksmith for years and have purchased a second cable. Both cables work perfectly, one is already 10 years old. The sound quality is absolutely sufficient for Rocksmith. The plug connection in the cable between the jack and USB cable is unnecessary.
