If you can live with the noisy AF, a very good choice.
Excellent portrait lens in GM quality. The aperture ring is convenient. But what is unworthy of a GM in my opinion is the loud and slow AF with coffee grinder sound. No idea what Sony was thinking.
But you can ask yourself if the very good and much cheaper FE 85 with f1.8 would not do it.Pro

The best lens from Sony! Sure the AF is a bit loud, compared to the 85 1.8, heavy it is also. But the quality is convincing in all situations! Never again without
