  I would buy them again depending on my needs

  So far I have installed 3 of these hard drives in my Synology DS918+, on which Plex is in use. When Plex is started for the first time, it takes a moment for the hard drives to come out of sleep mode. However, once they are active, everything works except for one thing. Apparently, the speed of the hard drives is not sufficient to play back 4K videos without having an interruption after a few seconds. However, this should be solved with an additional M.2 hard drive. Unfortunately, I have not yet had the chance to test this. I have had the hard drives in a RAID 5 for a few months. So far, none of them has failed. more
