Replacing traditional hard disks with SSDs is always worthwhile: reboot, start apps.

This SSD is good. When replacing a traditional hard drive with an SSD, this one is absolutely suitable. I use it. This solution is fast. There are faster ones for the Mac.
For a Mac, you look at the appropriate SSDs designed for the Mac beforehand. These are more expensive. You then have to decide between fast and faster.

I would only evaluate the quality after a year.
