Here's a guide on what you need to do to play on the (PS5 4K+120Hz+HDR). (IMAGE.)
First you have to update the firmware of the monitor to version 1004. Link to firmware 1004: USB
https://www.samsung.com/de...
You have to unzip the firmware and save only the file on a USB stick or portable SSD. Make sure that it has a high read speed. It will break otherwise because a simple stick is too slow. Then plug the stick/SSD into the USB port in the monitor marked Service. Then go to the monitor menu at the bottom and select Support and Software Update. (See picture) When it's done you have to go to the monitor menu and set Hdmi 1 - 2.1 in the settings and set PC/AV Mode to AV. Then in the Playstation settings go to Screen and Video and set 120Hz to Automatic. Then back into the menu go to Saved Data and Game App Settings and under Game Preferences select Performance Mode. Have fun!

The instructions for the software update in the review here from alpha-mobile works flawlessly and easy.
The LED lighting front and rear can be adjusted individually, (on / off, color, brightness, static / dynamic).

Basically, you can be satisfied with the monitor, especially if you benefit from the offer for 599 instead of 749? But the darkness is quite tedious because you constantly adjust the brightness on the monitor or in the game and you thus play around with the overall color which I do not find great.
An example with Modern Warfare:
If you turn up the brightness, you can when you take damage and everything is gray white, because the enemy with the sniper no longer see the white effect of the damage is as bright as the illumination of the telescope.
If you turn the brightness down or leave it at standard, you have the feeling that you can't see enemies in dark areas.
You have to find the perfect setting and I don't have it yet but I am confident.
I turned off HDR and it seemed to be ok BUT when you go into dark areas the picture loses color as if you were color blind from one moment to the next. And it gets worse and worse and also the quality gets worse. I have never seen this before and never experienced it with other monitors without HDR. At first I thought it was the game but it really seems to be the monitor.
