I just needed a tablet for surfing the internet and checking emails, nothing else, an iPad would be the obvious choice but just plain and simply costs at least double the price! So for simple stuff (which still includes watching some Netflix and plenty of YouTube vids), this tablet is perfect.

An absolutely top device in this price range. I still have an iPad 4 at home, which is many times more expensive. Of course, the iPad is a touch better in all respects. But only a touch.

first of all: i am not a power user and only need the tab for surfing and watching tv.
i bought it a week ago for 199,- at digitec and i am very satisfied. i find the performance to be correct, at least i have never had to get upset. the thing fits well in the hand and i am positively surprised by the battery. certainly recommendable for the average user.
since it currently costs 250,-, i would currently also consider the new nexus 7 v2, which is only slightly more expensive and has a quad core processor built in.
