Serious competition for my favourite mid-range model
The Galaxy A56 is a very good mid-range model that has some improvements over its predecessor. Nothing about it is bad, you just get slightly better features for more money. However, the more expensive Galaxy S models set themselves apart with more AI tools, even brighter displays and more computing power, for example.
When I tested the Nothing Phone (3a), I had already been able to take a look at the Galaxy A56. Spontaneously, I didn't think it was nearly as good. After my extensive test, both smartphones are now together at the top of the mid-range for me. In each case, nuances make the difference as to which is the better choice.
The Galaxy A56 offers better performance, longer updates and is waterproof. However, it costs more than the Phone (3a) and is less eye-catching in terms of design. Nothing also scores with the details of its telephoto camera. I'm still leaning towards the Nothing Phone (3a) - mainly because it's no worse in practice, I like the design and I'm happy about the lower price.Pro

Long awaited - Best mid-range...
Smartphone...of all time in my view, a first-class performance from Samsung. I know what I'm talking about at the age of 81. In terms of performance and quality, it's very close to the Galaxy S25+, which I initially wanted to buy. But this way - money saved (and then with 256 GB, what more could you want: a fine achievement from Galaxus)!

Positively surprised
This is my first Samsung and I am very satisfied. I didn't want to pay too much for my mobile, so I only considered the A series. The price-performance ratio is great and the camera is great and is completely sufficient for me. Despite the fact that I have rather small hands, I can operate the device easily with one hand, even though it is rather large. The colour is beautiful and with the aluminium frame it looks very high quality.

Clearly, you can't compare this mobile with the expensive ones, but it still has a lot of new features in the settings and I think it's really good value for money!

A great smartphone
Addendum: The battery performance has improved even more after more than 1 month! Together with my S24 FE, my best smartphones.
Thanks to the Saturday delivery, I was able to test the new A56 5G Olive for the 4th day. First impression: Great smartphone, in my opinion better than the A55. Android 15 and One UI version 7.0 run very smoothly. Is easier to handle than its predecessor. Better charging time with the 45 watt charger. Battery life is excellent, easily 2 days with normal use. Missing SD card slot is not a disadvantage, there are external card readers with USB-C for data backup.Pro
