Startup takes 20-30 seconds, app connection or app itself is weak.
With wet fingers, the touchpad can suddenly put on full volume...
Design good, functionality could be better.

I can actually only recommend it to someone who wants to have it constantly on the net, which misses the point with a Bluetooth speaker. Speaker element and housing of relatively good quality. App katastrofal should not be released. Unfortunately, also seems to appear no improvements in the App store.

The weak point of the device is clearly the operation, especially the confusing behavior of the ReVox app when connecting the A100 via WLAN in the local network. Even when successfully connected, the device appears much later in the ReVox app. The ReVox app does not show which devices it knows about unless they were online when the app was launched. I also suspect that after binding, the A100 reboots (for a long time), causing it not to appear in the app and leading to confusion. Since the software is the weak point of this otherwise nice product, and because the firmware as well as the ReVox app can be updated, I hope that such a good product will hopefully get the software it deserves. Then it will also get 5 stars

Crystal clear, clean sound with an amazing amount of bass. The old mp3 files of my CDs, although recorded with a lot of quality, do not do justice to the box, sorry, with the app rather a sound centre, in terms of quality. It's more the music sources that are limiting, not the little box. I have started to select the Internet radios according to sound quality. Every detail is audible. Even in a classical orchestra, the individual instruments and their sound characteristics are clearly discernible.
I bought the A100 right away together with a P100 to complement the beamer home cinema with good stereo sound. But I often unplug it and carry the A100 around with me in the flat, e.g. to the home office. On the balcony, I place it just in front of the corner so that the bass is reflected from both walls. Even that works.

Due to the many praises from various test reports, I am somewhat disappointed with the sound. For me, the sound is too bass-heavy and a little bit puffy. You won't find an equaliser. Unfortunately, one driver doesn't manage to cover the entire spectrum well. I have to say that the cheaper Beosound A1 from Bang and Olufsen does a much better job.
Too bad, I would have expected more from Revox. I will probably give the product away.

The Revox Studio Art sounds really good. The device is well built and has a powerful battery. Thanks to the versatile playback options (Bluetooth, Airplay, radio station presets, Deezer, Tidal), the box is very versatile and flexible. The Revox app is finally usable thanks to an update. All in all, a great device at a proud price....

Ideal complement to the Revox Soundbar S100 or also stand-alone (single or stereo)

The operating flow is unfamiliar and also somewhat cumbersome. The LEDs are not easy to see.
In comparison with, for example, the Bose 500, the bass is clearly limited at higher power levels.
I would probably not buy it again

I treated myself to the Revox STUDIOART A100 because I listened to this speaker and was totally blown away by the sound quality that came out of this dainty speaker. I am very spoilt by our Bang Olufsen Beolab 8000s which are getting on in years. Visually, the Revox A100 is first class and the workmanship is impeccable. In black, the speaker also looks very elegant and timeless. The sound quality:
As already mentioned, I am overwhelmed. The mids and trebles come across clean and differentiated and the sound is outstanding. When I closed my eyes, I thought the artist was playing the song in front of me:)) The speaker convinced me so much that I decided to buy the Revox S100 Audiobar (will be released in the near future) and another A100 for integration into a 5.1 system.

The best blutoothbox I have heard so far and in stereo it is even better. It is worth buying the A100 and the P100. Especially the human voices are drawn very precisely! Absolutely suitable for films and radio plays!
