    Super EbookReader with many formats

    I wanted an ebook reader that knows many different formats and can also read books aloud. Thanks to Bloothoth, this is very easy to connect to corresponding headphones, speakers or in the car. WLAN and USB interface are also very useful. This Pocketbook meets all my expectations.

    The e-reader is fun

    We have 3 Tolino Shine in the family and one PocketBook. The PocketBook is much more pleasant to use: both in terms of performance and user guidance. It is still an eBook and not a tablet with a fast processor. Surfing is slow, but for reading books and listening to podcasts it's very good.

    • Audio via Bluetooth or jack adapter
    • Nextcloud via external app
    • Many configuration options
    • Performance better than Tolino Shine HD 2
    • Overall handling is more pleasant than with Tolino
    • Font sharper than on the Tolino Shine HD2

    Contra

    • Audio jack directly in the device would have been good (not via supplied adapter)

    Hardware good, reader functionality poor

    For people who like to read thick books, even sometimes in French or Italian, m.E. not suitable. The Pocketbook Reader app on Android is much better than the device. Too bad!
