The workmanship can still be described as good. The housing, including the two large knobs, is made of metal, although it is not too thick-walled. The knobs are pleasant to use and only have a slight imbalance. The unit wobbles a little on flat surfaces.
The configuration was uncomplicated and quickly done. After a short time, music could be streamed from a notebook or a network hard drive via WLAN or music could be played from a smartphone via Bluetooth.
The reception of Bluetooth, WLAN and DAB is good thanks to the separate external antennas. Since the music from these sources is, of course, heavily compressed, the music quality cannot compete with that of high-quality CD players - there is simply a lack of detail in complex pieces of music. This is at least true when the music is converted via the built-in DAC and fed to the amplifier in analogue via RCA. In the future, I will tap the signals digitally via the coax or Toslink output, which will certainly benefit the quality. To sum up: At least via the analogue output, the sound quality is good, but by no means high-end. However, I'm not so sure whether it's worth buying an expensive high-end component for compressed, wirelessly transmitted music (whose standards like Bluetooth 4.0 are rapidly becoming obsolete).
The supplied remote control reacts somewhat sluggishly when switching stations or signal sources. However, I never use it because the operation via the UNDOK app on my smartphone is excellent. Apart from the settings menu of the player, everything can be done there and the device can also be switched off.
