I ordered the new Nokia 6 as soon as I saw it here in the shop for the first time, not because I needed a new phone - on the contrary, my Nokia 5 can be described with the same pros as the new Nokia 6 2018. The differences to my previous Nokia 5 are also not groundbreaking but rather pleasant. The display is a little bigger, the camera a little better, the performance a little higher, the design a little more stylish and hooray for USB C at last. Consumer frenzy, but at a very fair price ;-)
It would be too early at this point to give a general recommendation to buy, I've only been using it for a few days and I can only say that everything looks very good so far.
My recommendation for all those who are looking for a good and inexpensive mobile phone, take a look at the smartphones from Nokia, they have convinced me, I would even go so far as to say... NOKIA IS BACK yeah baby

Why pay 500 and more for a mobile phone? The Nokia 6.1 works flawlessly, always smoothly, I don't really miss anything.
The changeover after the Lumia 640 with WP10 went quite well. However, Android could still learn a thing or two from Microsoft's OS. The design of Android is already much more modern, but I find the user-friendliness of WP10, even WP 8.1, much more pleasant. Advertising, for example, is a foreign word. Well, over is over.

The Nokia looks great in my opinion. The display certainly blends in well with the casing. The whole thing is a real eye-catcher. The camera fascinated me a little because it takes good quality pictures. To be honest, I know almost too little to say anything about the performance of the smartphone. However, the system runs excellently. Below you can see a picture of my cat that I took with the Nokia.

Super device, still does its job reliably after 2 years.
It fell down the toilet today... and it still works.

Put it on the table on the 3rd day and the display is broken into 1000 pieces. The part looks like it fell from the balcony onto the asphalt forecourt - without a single scratch on the rest of the casing, of course.

The Nokia 6.1 is a very good mid-range smartphone that I can only recommend. Since Google stopped with the Nexus series, I was looking for a smartphone with stock Android at a normal price. What I don't want is to have to remove gigabytes of bloatware (some of which cannot even be uninstalled) before I can use a new smartphone. Moreover, I am not prepared to pay 1000 francs or even more for a mobile phone, which is ridiculous.
In everyday use, the workmanship stands out positively, that it runs smoothly and that the battery lasts just under two days for my use. The only negative thing I have to mention is that some Google APIs are not supported and so, for example, the Google Camera app and the Pixel Launcher cannot be installed without further ado.
