  Well, may have been bad luck, but I'm not convinced...

  Tested under Ubuntu, had quite problems reading a burned CD, under dmesg there were always again I/O errors and also timeouts when communicating with the drive.
  Finally, however, all data could be read.
  
  I'm not that convinced. The I/O Erros are OK, if it is at the CD Lagt, but the communication timeouts rather not...
  
  The driver CD I have taken to test, which has worked without problems... more
