Good, but USB-C port is charging only!
it was unexpected usb-c port is not for data transfer. it is power only. should have been mentioned in the description.

Works great, not only for Mac, but also for HP. The USB-C distances of the Hama USB-C Hub fit both notebooks.

Alternative to a docking station
It seems to do everything as advertised

Doesn't work with my Jabra Link 380 in the USB-C port
I bought this to create a docking station for my work laptop. But it plugs into my only USB-C port and the USB-C port included in it doesn't work with my headphone link dongle. So now I have to plug that into the USB-C port and this hub is useless to me.

Does what it should
This could also be a problem with my Dell Linux laptop, but after the laptop was connected in sleep mode, it usually does not recognise plugged in USB, you have to unplug the dock or USB stick and plug it in again.

This very reasonably priced device does what it has to do: provide many connections for the Macbook. Very reasonably priced compared to other USB-C hubs. But somewhat clunky design. But if that doesn't matter, then unreserved recommendation.

Inexpensive hub solution
Having a USB-c to USB adaptor would have been useful. Not all devices (eg monitors) will work if connected through this hub, so I had to use the hub with a USB adaptor and keep my monitor plugged in to my Yoga laptop's usb-c port.

I bought the USB-C hub to be able to connect my phone to the screen (HDMI) while I charge it so that the battery doesn't drain quickly (mobile has the feeling via USB that it needs to charge the monitor).

The workmanship is not cheap and all connected devices are recognised.
