A very chic little smartphone that fits in your pocket.
I was looking for a successor to my Nexus 5X for some time and have now found this. The best: With my usage pattern almost 3 (!) Days without recharging.
Exceeds all expectations!
I can only recommend Pixel 4a. Price performance is TOP.

The phone is good if you do not get a defective model
If the phone was intact, it would probably be good.
The device had an autofocus error (jumped back and forth) when I received it. So I had to send it right back in. It came back a week later. Autofocus worked. But it had glue marks on the edge of the display. I had a bad feeling: When I put the device into the original Google case, the display came off completely. The repair by Also Schweiz AG is completely flawed. The display was obviously removed and poorly glued.
It is now known that Google phones are difficult to open and close again. Also Schweiz AG is apparently not able to do this.
The problem is that Google phones are not officially available in Switzerland, so Digitec is probably forced to use a third-party company to handle warranty cases. This then takes correspondingly longer.
After I sent in the phone for the second time, a new device was sent to me a week later. Since I had no phone for 3 weeks, I switched to another model.

Since digitec unfortunately has massive delivery problems I could not buy it here but am very satisfied despite very slightly increased price. The device can deliver everything you expect from a smartphone pretty well. In the camera, of course, it surpasses significantly. So you have a mid-range smartphone which does all daily tasks without problems and then still brings a hammer camera with it. The case is plastic but very nicely finished. Personally, I prefer it to glass, which you then still have to repair for a lot of money ... A case I would recommend, because the case is already rather slippery. In return, the phone is compact and a blessing for people who long for smaller phones. The software is very strong and strikes a nice compromise between the stylish simplicity of Apple and the customer-friendly openness and customization of Android. Google Assistant is worlds better than Apple (thanks in part, of course, to the large amount of data Google has at its disposal....
