Because Swisscom is switching to VoIP, my old analogue telephone had to be reconnected to the router. This is very impractical for me because my flat is spread over 2 floors. However, the telephone is on the other floor than the PC/router, and that's how it should stay. Because there is no longer a usable connection cable between the floors due to the changeover, I had to get a new telephone that communicates with the router via radio.
Because there aren't many usable VoIP phones on the market yet, I decided to buy another analogue phone set.
The Siemens Gigaset C430A fully meets my requirements! It is reasonably priced, was delivered and installed quickly and worked without any problems right away. The devices are beautifully designed and easy to use because they don't have too many bells and whistles in terms of functionality. Now I even have a phone on both floors! I am very happy with the purchase.Pro
