In my view, not quite as quiet as described in many reviews. The Arctic Cooling Accelero for the 7970 is quieter. But that's probably because you can't regulate the fan below 35%, even though the temperatures would allow it for the longest time.... Otherwise, the card runs quite well. I have not yet tested the final clock speeds. 1527 MHz core and 7200 MHz memory run absolutely stable at approx. 68°C GPU.

I think it's one of the best deals available at this moment.
Being an overclocked version it's only ~10% slower than the reference 980.
But the 980 is more than 200 CHF more expensive...
I've replaced a single GTX-680 (Gainward 680 GTX Phantom 4GB) with two Gigabyte GTX-970 Gaming-4GD. I went from a 23 FPS average in Metro 2033 Redux (1440p, ultra high quality) to ... 78 FPS! I'm really amazed by this graphics card (and the 970 chipset in general)
Reviewers have said that it overclocks to 1.5GHz, bringing it on par with the reference 980 :)

I have had the graphics card for about 2 weeks now and would buy it again at any time. It has replaced both my 580GTX (SLI).
Farcry4 runs on the highest graphics settings, as long as the resolution is set to 3600x1400 (nvidia suround). Unfortunately, it no longer runs smoothly at 7200x1400.
Price/performance is definitely top with this graphics card.
The only drawback is that when the graphics card gets warm and the fans start to spin up, they generate a low whistling noise. Personally, this doesn't bother me because I wear a headset when I'm gaming.
When I'm working normally, i.e. when the graphics card doesn't have much to do, it's barely audible.
As far as length is concerned, I have to agree with the previous reviewers. It is very long, you should measure your case first... My Cooler Master HAF Big Tower is not exactly small, but there is not even 1 cm of space between the graka and the Sata backplane with the S-ATA cable connected...

I've been using the GraKa (SLI) for just under a week now. I must say I am very satisfied! Top performance, good cooling. The fans are a little louder but don't bother me at all because I usually wear a headset on the computer anyway.
People with a midi case have to make sure that the GraKa has enough space because it is 31.2cm long.

Top map!
I replaced my AMD R9 280x with this card and it's worlds apart! It is extremely quiet for this performance and brings more than enough FPS to the screen!
The card is rather expensive, but if you want to play all games at maximum settings (1920x1080), you should definitely not save money here.

I like the graphics card very much! The only drawback is the sound generation.
