If you can find this monitor under 500, then it is a great deal. Once the firmware is updated, 1000 peak HDR brightness is enabled, unlocking great colors and contrast.
Almost in every way possible, it is the perfect monitor except in two things. First is the brightness. It doesn't get up to 1000 nits on the whole panel, which sometimes makes for a bit of a disappointing HDR experience. Second is the a purple hue when light is directed at the panel. It makes the blacks look weird so if you know you will have light coming at the monitor, I would consider W-OLED and not a QD-OLED display.
Other than that, this display is just perfect. 240 Hz refresh rate, deep contrast, multiple inputs with usb-c. Overall a great monitor for gaming and watching movies.
After the update of the firmware, there is a 360 Hz mode in 1080p.
