    Good tracker with BUT

    Bought the tracker on Friday, but was skeptical due to the reported synchronization problems.... Not wrongly, as it turned out.

    First, the Fit Bit app must be downloaded, then the device can be paired - has worked without     problems. Steps and other data were also dutifully synchronized with the app.
    After that I wanted to connect Spotify, calendar, weather and co., but here it always said the device must first be synchronized. No chance to somehow get to this synchronization. Then I wanted to change the clock face, which also did not work because I did not have the latest firmware. Then the big googling began. In the Fit Bit forum, I then became aware of the update of the app a day later, which I then immediately downloaded. And this morning, about 36 hours later, the firmware update was available on my app. This is apparently automatically loaded in the first 48 hours on the app, provided that this is also running in the background (too bad you can find this only on research on the Internet).

    Now tried to do the firmware update with no success. The circle has only turned without really updating anything. So I contacted Fit Bit support via chat, which also answered promptly on Sunday, unfortunately only in English. Tracker must be at least 50% charged, restarted, disconnected from Bluetooth and then restarted the phone.... Hallelujah - after that it worked and the tracker now runs as desired. A miracle that I did not still have to turn in circles clapping. No, but honestly, no one can figure that out without help. Maybe I just had bad luck.

    So. now I'm curious how it goes on ;)

    Fitbit Charge 4 can not pair

    Received the Fitbit yesterday and unpacked it full of anticipation. Unfortunately, I can not set up the part via the app. Have tried all tips without success. Send the part back now...for a 120 CHF tracker I expect in this day and age plug and play and not hours of trial and error so that the part finally works. Maybe Fitbit should invest a little more in their development department. Does anyone have a tip for a good alternative to the Fitbit Charge 4?

    Heart rate unusable inaccurate, integration bad if it does not belong to Fitbit itself
