The Fitbit Alta is really fun, the app is brilliant and the workmanship is very good. Easy to install, very comfortable to wear. I would buy it again immediately

The main feature is that it does everything by itself!
It identifies and records activities automatically, depending on how it is set up it alerts you
of when activities should be done. The achievement of goals is signalled by vibrations
accompanied by animations on the display.
The data is downloaded to the Samsung mobile phone and at home to the Mac. In both cases, synchronisation has never given any problems.
I personally prefer the second solution, which allows a better display of the different values.
I have compared the recorded data with the device I was using previously (Garmin) and I find it reliable.
Using only the basic functions (activities) the battery lasts approx. 5-6 days.Pro

purchased this productGood, but no longer compatible with Windows 10
The Fitbit itself is great. However, the support for Windows 10 is currently not given. Both the mobile and the desktop app do not sync the data. At least not without the included dongle. However, Fitbit is already behind this and an update should be available "soon".
Btw, as soon as Microsoft includes the GATT server on Windows 10, text messages and incoming phone calls will also be displayed.
